The successful momentum programme begins again in January with another group of young people putting their driving skills and knowledge to the test. The programme aims to prepare them for safe driving once they begin learning at 17.
Aviemore Ski Trip
Plans for the LHYCA ski trip to Aviemore in February are now well under way and the group has met to begin organising and planning the trip. These events have been very successful in the past and it is hoped that the group will all return as expert skiers and snowboarders.
The group have been fund-raising through bag packing at the Co-op and also holding a stall at the switching on of the Christmas lights in Stornoway Town Centre.

New Committee Members
At the recent LHYCA AGM meeting held in the Council Chambers Andrew MacDonald and Shona Paton came on to the committee and Kenny Smith stood down after a number of years working with the LHYCA. The committee would like to thank Kenny for all his hard work over the years.
