Point Girls Club celebrated their 25th Anniversary recently. Pictured above are some of the nights events. As the founder of the club Donalda Cowie was presented with a bouqet of flowers by present leader Ruth Macaskill. Lewis and Harris Youth Clubs Association acknowledged this achievement by gifting the club with an all expenses paid trip to Scaladale. Point Football Club supported the girls by auctioning their individual skills for a day.
Point Girls Club takes place every Monday night during term time, 7.30pm-9pm @ Bayble School if you are aged 10 -18 and female you are very welcome to come along and take part. The main activites are football and unihoc, although we do try and do different things such as dance!
Our club currently has over 25 members and we take part in many local competitions including, the Sports Festival, Winter Leagues, Kirk Cup, Colour Centre Shield Cup and many more. The club has been in existence since 1981 and this year is our 25th Anniversary. If you want more information about Point Girls Club please get in touch!
