Ski Trip 11th - 14th February 2009

On Wednesday the 11th of February 2009 a group of 8 young people and 3 leaders headed off in the wintry conditions to Aviemore.  First stop was for a game of bowls.  Here are some of the action shots and a shot of the scoreboard....someone was having bad luck with eight rounds of zero!

Skiing on the Thursday got off to a good start with most of the group on our bottoms,  but this had changed by Friday afternoon when we all looked like we could have been on Ski Sunday!

Gordon Bambi managed to ditch his nickname from last year as he managed to stay on his feet this year!

The slopes were busy both days so it meant an early start for everyone at 6.30am - but it was WELL worth it!

The picture above on the far right shows the group at the top of the mountain ready to ski down!

All that skiing certainly creates an appetite and makes you rather sleepy!

The trip was a great success and enjoyed by all.
